安卓收到的短信，端到端加密后送到你的 iPhoneTexts from your Android phone, end-to-end encrypted, on your iPhone

Jolteo 由两部分组成：装在安卓手机上的免费配套 App，和这款 iPhone App。安卓手机收到新短信后，在本机加密，经中转服务器和 Apple 推送送到配对的 iPhone，再在 iPhone 上解密，显示成通知。中转服务器和 Apple 只经手密文。Jolteo has two parts: a free companion app on your Android phone and this iPhone app. When the Android phone receives a new text, it encrypts it on the device and sends it through a relay server and Apple Push Notifications to your paired iPhone, which decrypts it and shows it as a notification. The relay server and Apple only handle ciphertext.

能做什么What it does

端到端加密End-to-end encrypted: 每次配对，iPhone 都会新生成一对密钥，私钥只保存在这台 iPhone 上。安卓端用对应的公钥加密每条短信并签名；中转服务器看不到正文、发件人和时间，也伪造不了消息。Each pairing creates a new key pair on the iPhone, and the private key stays on that iPhone. The Android app encrypts and signs every text with the matching public key, so the relay never sees the body, sender or time, and cannot forge messages.
扫一次码，核对指纹One scan, one fingerprint check: 安卓 App 扫一下 iPhone 上显示的二维码，两台手机会各自算出同一串 8 位指纹。你确认两边一致，再把指纹后 4 位输进安卓，配对才会生效。Scan the code shown on your iPhone with the Android app. Both phones show the same 8-character fingerprint. Confirm they match, then type its last 4 characters on the Android phone to finish pairing.
在 iPhone 上解密显示Decrypted on your iPhone: 推送到达后，由 iPhone 上的通知扩展在本机解密并验证签名，再显示发件人、正文和收到短信的 SIM 卡槽。验证不通过的消息不会显示内容。When a push arrives, a notification extension on the iPhone decrypts it and checks the signature, then shows the sender, the text and which SIM received it. Messages that fail verification are never shown.
发送失败会重试Retries instead of dropping: 安卓 App 先把短信存进本机队列，中转服务器确认收下后才删除；网络不通时会自动重试。设置里还有可选的前台服务，让系统不容易把它关掉。The Android app saves each text to a local queue and deletes it only after the relay accepts it, retrying when the network is down. An optional foreground service in Settings makes it less likely the system stops the app.

常见问题Questions

你们能看到我的短信吗？Can you read my texts?

看不到。短信在安卓手机上加密，只有配对 iPhone 上的私钥能解开。中转服务器只拿到推送令牌和密文，不保存密文，也不把请求内容写进日志。No. Texts are encrypted on the Android phone and only the private key on your paired iPhone can decrypt them. The relay only receives a push token and ciphertext; it does not store the ciphertext or log request contents.

配对之前收到的旧短信会转过来吗？Will it forward texts I received before pairing?

不会。安卓 App 不读取短信历史，只转发配对确认之后新收到的短信。No. The Android app does not read your message history; it only forwards texts that arrive after pairing is confirmed.

为什么安卓 App 不在 Google Play 上？Why isn't the Android app on Google Play?

Google Play 对短信权限的政策不允许这种用途，所以安卓 App 通过自有渠道分发。Google Play's SMS permission policy does not allow this use, so the Android app is distributed outside Google Play.

很长的短信会怎样？What happens to very long texts?

为装进一条推送，超过约 850 个汉字的正文会在安卓端截断，iPhone 上的通知会标明「已截短」。To fit in a single push, a body longer than about 850 Chinese characters is shortened on the Android phone, and the iPhone notification marks it as shortened.
